The same constellation — built for weather. This outdoor Fil de Fer floor lamp is the IP-rated sphere with a boxed driver, not the indoor plug-dimmer. Diameters Ø 50, 70, and 100 cm in aluminium or matt gold. USA MAP about $3,990 (Ø 50 cm aluminium, F5IPL) to $8,000 (Ø 100 cm gold, F10IPLG). Current datasheet: not dimmable. Specify 110V or 240V before order.
Can this sit on a New York terrace?
This family (F5IPL through F10IPLG) is the outdoor floor lamp. Indoor F3L will not carry the same rating. Salt air and uncovered exposure still need a designer check — especially Caribbean terraces. Do not put an indoor sphere on a balcony.
Does the outdoor floor Fil de Fer dim?
Factory datasheets list the outdoor driver as not dimmable. Indoor floor lamps dim at the floor unit. If the terrace must dim, say so in Chelsea — we will not promise a driver the sheet does not list.
